Job description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • 2 yearsโ€˜ experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
  • For CVOR positions, 2 yearsโ€˜ experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
  • Must have graduated from an accredited Surg Tech program
  • BLS from AHA only
  • 1 year plus Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting


Assignment Details:

  • Shift hours: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Shift schedule: 3x12
  • Shift days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Weekend hours as required by facility
  • Call required on scheduled days, averaging around 5 or less per 8 weeks
  • Float requirements: as required by facility
