Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Teach 3rd-5th grade math
  • Monitor students as they complete adaptive curriculum in math and science.
  • Ensures students write weekly learning plans - Achieving 1.25= years of growth
  • Daily reviews data dashboard to monitor student progress on Zearn & Khan Academy
  • Create lesson plans (with artificial intelligence assistance) based on student data
  • Teach 7-10 small group lessons daily (1:20 teacher:student ratio)
  • Teach morning and afternoon homeroom character education lessons
  • Lead a sport/club from 3-4p (after school time is part of our school day)
  • Duties - Recess/Lunch
  • Collaborate and plan with reading/writing teacher (90 minutes planning time per day)
  • Keep classroom clean and organized
  • Grading and family communication

Compensation:
  • Base salary - $60,000-$64,000 (3 year contract + annual raises)
  • Hours: 8a-5p (10 month teacher work calendar, 2 months paid vacation)
