Job description

POSITION: Interventionist-ENL & 504 (Alexandria Monroe Elementary School)

START DATE: August 3, 2026


HOURS: 29.5/week

RATE OF PAY: $25.28/hour (Support Staff Salary Schedule I)


Position Summary:

Alexandria Community School Corporation is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Interventionist to support English New Language (ENL) learners and oversee Section 504 plans. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure students receive appropriate academic interventions, language support, and accommodations necessary for student success.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional support and interventions for ENL students in individual and small group settings
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records related to interventions and ENL services
  • Coordinate and oversee Section 504 plans, including scheduling meetings, maintaining compliance documentation, and communicating with staff and families
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement accommodations and support student achievement
  • Work collaboratively with the ENL TOR to support multilingual learners and monitor student progress
  • Assist with student assessments and data collection to inform instructional decisions
  • Participate in student support meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana teaching license preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
