JOB SUMMARY: Coordinates the district's compliance with its responsibilities under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 which prohibits discrimination against students with disabilities and requires their needs be met. The 504 Coordinator supports the identification, development and implementation of services and supports for students who are eligible under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act in accordance with applicable school, district, state regulations and serves as a resource to school personnel by providing support and guidance based on subject area knowledge and experience. This job reports to the Director of Exceptional Children.
