What You ll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you ll play a vital role in supporting our doctors and patients across various services. Whether you're assisting in surgery, monitoring hospitalized pets, or guiding clients through aftercare, your day will be filled with opportunities to make a difference.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform and support inpatient and outpatient care, including triage, diagnostics, treatments, and discharges
  • Assist with emergency cases, anesthesia, and surgical preparation/monitoring
  • Manage labs, bloodwork, radiographs, and medication administration (IV, IM, SQ, oral)
  • Provide clear, compassionate client communication and education
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient logs (SOAPs)
  • Monitor hospitalized patients, collaborate on rounds, and support overnight emergencies (if applicable)
  • Participate in training and mentorship for new team members
  • Support your department s organization, cleanliness, and inventory

You ll be trained and encouraged to cross-train with different specialties (ER, anesthesia, surgery, internal medicine, and more), allowing you to broaden your skill set and explore different areas of interest.


Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position currently offering four 10-hour or three 12-hour evening swing shifts. Potential schedule examples include:

  • Sunday-Wednesday 4pm-2am

  • Thursday-Saturday 2pm-2am

  • Wednesday-Saturday 4pm-2am

Compensation

  • $21-$26/hour, dependent upon experience and credentials
  • Eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus
