Job description

To provide technical financial support for an assigned organization unit. To review requests and determine appropriateness with regard to institutional requirements, proper authorization, and conformance with established regulations. To assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of budgets and accounts, review requisitions, and order equipment and supplies. To collect financial information and provide reports and analyses as needed. 

This position will support UAB Accounts Payable and the needs of campus to keep normal operations flowing smoothly.

Salary Range: $17.95 - $18.49

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. 

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a University or large institution  
  • Prior experience in Accounts Payable
