A 40-hour job typically refers to full-time employment where an employee works 40 hours per week, often spread across five 8-hour days. This is the standard workweek in many industries and aligns with labor laws in various countries. Employees in such roles may receive benefits like health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.
