Job Summary

Nexus Employment Solutions Plus Inc is currently seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.

This role provides leadership to production employees, coordinates shift activities across departments, and ensures compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

The Production Supervisor works closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to maintain efficient production processes, support equipment performance, and drive continuous improvement within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the production floor

  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and safe work practices

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Conduct regular safety discussions with production personnel

  • Supervise daily production activities during assigned shifts

  • Coordinate operational activities between Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation departments

  • Manage employee scheduling and production priorities to support operational efficiency

  • Monitor line operations to ensure equipment performance and production targets are met

  • Ensure production processes comply with food safety regulations and GMP requirements

  • Verify that required quality checks and documentation are completed accurately

  • Ensure finished products meet company specifications and quality standards

  • Support internal audits, customer visits, and quality inspections

  • Supervise production employees including operators and line personnel

  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to support employee development

  • Ensure employees follow SOPs, equipment checklists, and quality procedures

  • Evaluate employee performance and support skill development initiatives

  • Support production line setups and equipment startup activities

  • Identify equipment issues and coordinate maintenance support as needed

  • Ensure proper use of production systems for documentation, inventory tracking, and material movement

  • Support sanitation activities to ensure equipment and production areas meet food safety standards

  • Coordinate cleaning schedules and verify sanitation effectiveness when required

  • Ensure compliance with company sanitation procedures and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Previous

    supervisory experience in a manufacturing or food production environment

    preferred

  • Knowledge of

    Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Schedule

  • Full-time

  • 8–10 hour shifts

  • Overtime as needed
