In the role as the Security Dispatch Officer – 3rd Shift, you will help our team bring the next round of stories to life on the United Center campus.

The Security Dispatch Officer – 3rd Shift will ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for all United Center team members and guests by monitoring assigned areas.

 

Third Shift Security Dispatch Officer: 11:45PM-8AM


What you’ll do:

To ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment for all United Center Team Members and guests by monitoring assigned areas.

What you’ll need:

  • Create a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
  • Monitor CCTV, door alarms and alarm systems.
  • Operate dispatch communications, respond to guest concerns, and document incidents.
  • Enforce facility policies, monitor safety and cleanliness, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong knowledge of the facility layout and services.
  • Conduct screenings and patrols using magnetometers and security vehicles; remain active at posts and during facility walkthroughs.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to work well with large groups of people.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English.
  • Basic knowledge of security programs.
  • Must have weekend and holiday availability.
  • Ability to solve problems, and handle situations with limited standardization.
  • Previous security, military, and/or law enforcement experience
  • High school graduate, GED, or technical school; or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PERC Card certification and valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand or walk for most of the shift and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds, stoop, kneel, or reach.
  • Requires color vision and the ability to focus.

The pay range for this role is $23.00 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include 401K retirement plan with company match, paid time off and commuter benefits.
