3rd Shift Sanitation 1 Employee

The 3rd Shift Sanitation 1 employee helps clean the egg processing plant after production is finished for the day. This includes cleaning equipment, floors, tools, and work areas so the plant is clean, safe, and ready for the next shift. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, floors, drains, and work areas after production is complete.
  • Remove egg debris, waste, and other material from assigned areas.
  • Use hoses, foamers, scrubbers, squeegees, and other cleaning tools as trained.
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow instructions on labels and from supervisors.
  • Follow safety rules, food safety rules, and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Tell a supervisor or lead about equipment problems, safety concerns, or areas that need attention.
  • Perform other cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • No previous sanitation experience required; training will be provided.
  • Able to work 3rd shift and overnight hours.
  • Able to follow directions and learn cleaning procedures.
  • Able to work in a wet, cool, and fast-paced plant environment.
  • Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to work as part of a team.
