What is the difference between 3Rd Shift Amazon Dsp Delivery Driver vs FedEx Delivery Driver?

Both roles require a valid driver’s license, background check, and delivery experience. The main difference lies in the employer and industry focus: Amazon DSP drivers work within Amazon’s e-commerce logistics network, often on contracted routes, while FedEx drivers are employed directly by FedEx, focusing on package delivery for a global courier service. Both jobs involve driving, customer interaction, and working during night shifts, but the specific employer and operational environment differ.

How much does Amazon pay DSP drivers?

Amazon DSP delivery drivers typically earn between $15 and $25 per hour, depending on location, experience, and shift hours. Compensation may include benefits such as health insurance and paid time off, and drivers are usually paid weekly or biweekly based on hours worked.

Does Amazon hire 3rd party delivery drivers?

Amazon 3rd shift DSP (Delivery Service Partner) drivers are employed by independent delivery companies contracted by Amazon, not directly by Amazon itself. These drivers typically operate delivery vans and need to pass background checks and vehicle requirements. Amazon partners with third-party delivery providers to fulfill its delivery needs, offering employment opportunities through these companies rather than direct Amazon employment for drivers.

Can you make $1000 a week with Amazon Flex?

Amazon Flex delivery drivers can potentially earn around $18 to $25 per hour, which may total approximately $720 to $1,000 or more per week depending on hours worked and tips.
