Job Description

Role Summary: The material handler will be responsible for inventory within the facility. This involves receiving/ shipping material, distribution of material throughout the facility, and managing inventory discrepancies.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock, recording location of inventory

  • Maintains accuracy in recording material transactions, such as receiving

  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by packing/ crating/ securing material

  • Supports the production floor by moving material

  • Supports and performs work in compliance to all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies, and regulations

  • Processes components in compliance with internal processing requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/ GED

  • Detail oriented, organizational skills

  • Knowledge of EHS procedures and policies

  • Ability to use manual equipment and hand tools safely

  • Understanding of manufacturing and quality procedures in a lean manufacturing environment

  • Basic computer understanding and data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree, or equivalent Technical School certification

  • Expertise with various fork trucks

  • Prior computer skills in Microsoft suite

  • Proficy experience

  • Oracle experience
