Job Title: OSP Engineer
Location: Walnut Creek, CA (Hybrid)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled OSP Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in fiber plant design and telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and a solid understanding of construction practices and permitting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and plan fiber optic networks and oversee construction activities.
  • Apply knowledge of telecommunications, data networking, and wireless systems.
  • Utilize advanced computer applications including Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, and Google Earth.
  • Ensure quality control over construction and adherence to local practices.
  • Manage engineering systems and databases effectively.
  • Coordinate with vendors and permitting agencies to ensure timely approvals.
  • Conduct site surveys, pre-construction meetings, and field inspections.
  • Understand and apply right-of-way and property rights regulations.

Must-Have Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts.
  • Proficiency in GIS and drafting tools.
