Job description

Summary of Position:
We are looking for a Motion Designer (2D/3D) to join our internal creative team and help bring complex ideas to life through animation, motion graphics, and cinematic 3D visuals. This role focuses on creating high-quality motion graphics, animation, and 3D visualizations that help communicate complex technical ideas through compelling visual storytelling. Working closely with designers, marketers, and subject-matter experts across the organization, the Motion Designer will develop visuals that support marketing campaigns, brand storytelling, and technical communication. Projects will include motion graphics for video, 3D product and technology visualizations, and animated explainers that simplify complex systems and processes. The ideal candidate is a curious and collaborative visual storyteller who enjoys learning new concepts, asking questions, and turning technical information into engaging visual narratives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 2-7 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or a related creative field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation, and 3D visualization work.
  • Experience translating complex or technical information into clear visual storytelling.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and subject-matter experts, taking direction from multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong visual design sensibility including composition, pacing, typography, and lighting.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Indicators & Attributes for Success:
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in motion design, animation, and 3D visualization tools including:
  • Adobe motion and video tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D software
  • Experience with lighting, materials, rendering, and camera animation
  • Adobe design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop)

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create motion graphics and animation to support marketing videos and digital content.

  • Develop technical animations and explainer visuals that simplify complex systems, processes, or technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to support brand storytelling and visual communication initiatives.
  • Work cross-departmentally with engineers, product specialists, and other subject-matter experts to translate technical concepts into clear visual graphics.
  • Contribute to concept development, storyboarding, and visual ideation during project planning.
  • Produce animation sequences, visual effects, and motion elements that enhance larger video and marketing projects.
  • Develop motion graphics and visual assets that can be reused across marketing channels and campaigns.
  • Manage projects from concept through final render while maintaining brand standards and quality expectations.
  • Stay current on emerging motion design tools, animation techniques, and visual trends.
