About Us: We are a custom home builder specializing in high-end residential construction in the Tampa Bay area. With a commitment to quality, detail, and personalized design, we create unique homes that reflect each client's vision. We're currently seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter to join our in-house design team.

Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter with 3–5 years of experience, strong proficiency in Revit, and solid working knowledge of the Florida Building Codes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential construction drafting, and prior involvement in custom home design is highly preferred.

This position is 100% on-site at our Tampa office. Remote work is not available.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate architectural drawings, construction documents, and detailed plans using Revit

Interpret redlines and work closely with designers, engineers, and permitting agencies

Ensure all plans comply with Florida Building Codes and local jurisdictional requirements

Assist in plan revisions, shop drawing reviews, and coordination with consultants and subcontractors

Maintain organized drawing sets, project files, and version control

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate project requirements and resolve technical issues.

Revise and update drawings as needed, ensuring all modifications meet client and regulatory standards.

Conduct code analysis and incorporate relevant requirements into project documentation.

Support project milestones by meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Requirements:

3–5 years of architectural drafting experience in residential construction

Associate degree or equivalent in Architecture, Drafting, or related field.

Strong proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD experience is a plus)

Solid understanding of Florida Building Codes

Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and permit requirements

High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines

Familiarity with construction documentation standards and detailing practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional certifications in architectural drafting or building codes.

Experience with 3D rendering software or building information modeling (BIM).

Experience with custom homes is highly preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
