Job Summary

Formlabs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced floor lead to lead a team in a state-of-the-art digital additive manufacturing service operation. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of safety and quality. The  floor lead will oversee 3d printing production daily operations. This position is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within the dynamic and growing field of digital fabrication.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead an hourly labor pool and support functions, resource planning and training. Foster a positive and collaborative environment for our Team members that emphasizes safety, quality, and accountability.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee main aspects of production/operational processes, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to schedules, and high-quality output across multiple digital manufacturing platforms.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve immediate production issues and implement effective corrective and preventative actions to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead/manager role.
  • Experience managing direct hourly employees in a high-throughput environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to mentor employees across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with advanced additive manufacturing technologies or digital fabrication tools.
