Job description

Corvid Technologies is seeking a motivated and hands-on 3D Printing Technician to join our growing team in Mooresville, NC. This role will support engineers across multiple projects by operating 3D printing equipment, assisting with prototype builds, and supporting a variety of prototype development efforts. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting cutting-edge engineering and technology development.
This entry level opportunity is perfect for a technically oriented, hands-on professional interested in learning more about prototyping aerospace and defense systems. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn new technologies, collaborate with a variety of engineering disciplines, and work on fast-paced, critical work products.
Typical tasking will include:
  • Operate 3D printing equipment to produce additive manufactured components and products
  • Finish, clean and assemble various components/parts after printing process is complete
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and upkeep of printing equipment
  • Maintain an organized and efficient 3D Printing workspace while supporting multiple ongoing projects

Requirements:
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet ability to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, comfort working with tools, and a strong desire to do hands-on projects
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong technical curiosity/ingenuity to help solve unique prototyping challenges
  • Experience working with 3D printers, similar additive manufacturing technology, CAD software, or basic electrical skills is a plus.
