JOB TITLE: Solder Inspector
LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL
PAY RATE: $28.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Performs tool and die fabrication with minimum 8 years of experience.

  • Leads CNC mill and lathe cell operations with at least 5 years of experience.

  • Performs CNC set-up and programming using G-code, M-code, and CAM software (Mastercam or similar).

  • Reads advanced blueprints and interprets GD&T, working with 3D tool models.

  • Uses inspection tools to perform in-process quality control.

  • Machines steels, alloys, aluminums, titanium, super alloys, plastics, composites, and additive manufacturing parts.

  • Participates in ESH compliant programs and proactive hazard identification.

  • Trains junior machinists on setup, inspection, and best practice tooling techniques (desired).

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Minimum 8 years in tool and die fabrication.

  • Minimum 5 years leading CNC mill and lathe cell operations.

  • Proven proficiency with CNC set-up and programming (G-code, M-code).

  • Proven proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam or similar).

  • Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.

  • Ability to work with 3D tool models.

  • Understanding of inspection tools for in-process quality control.

  • Experience machining steels, alloys, aluminums, titanium, super alloys, plastics, composites, and AM parts.

  • Desired: Ability and willingness to train junior machinists on setup, inspection, and best practice tooling techniques.
