In this role, you’ll use your Civil 3D expertise to partner directly with project teams and own the digital backbone of assigned projects. This is a project-facing role that works alongside project managers, design leads, and production teams to keep Civil 3D models stable, standards-based, and submittal-ready throughout the project lifecycle. As a Model Manager, you will proactively manage model health, coordinate model integration and clash detection workflows, and support the production of precise, contract-compliant digital deliverables

This position is ideal for an experienced Civil 3D professional who enjoys project-facing partnership, can balance standards with production realities, and is passionate about leveraging technology to strengthen digital design delivery for site-civil, water, wastewater, and energy transmission/distribution projects.

We are open to considering fully remote applicants.

  • Execute and maintain Civil 3D project setup workflows, including templates, styles, support content, and drawing organization, and standardize repeatable practices to improve delivery efficiency and meet PxP and client requirements.
  • Manage Civil 3D model data environments and model health, including reference strategy, Xrefs, data shortcuts, file organization, and QC checks to verify compliance with standards, reference integrity, and milestone readiness.
  • Coordinate and execute clash detection and model integration for multi-discipline and multi-phase projects, supporting phased delivery and milestone execution.
  • Support digital delivery requirements by preparing precise, contract-compliant deliverables for project milestones and submittals in required native or exchange formats.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in in civil engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Autodesk Civil 3D experience in civil production workflows (projects that include surfaces, corridors, pipe networks, profiles).
  • Strong understanding of CAD/BIM standards, PxP requirements, and Civil 3D model governance best practices (project organization, references, and data management).
  • Experience supporting multi-discipline coordination and model integration on infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with clash detection and issue coordination workflows (e.g., Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud Model Coordination) and digital delivery requirements.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Preferred

  • Professional engineering (PE) licensure
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Model Coordination, and Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro for Civil 3D projects.
  • Knowledge of interoperability and exchange formats (LandXML, IFC, IMX, KML/KMZ, SHP, GeoJSON).
  • Experience supporting multi-phase infrastructure, water, wastewater, stormwater, or energy projects with complex digital delivery requirements.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam for markup and coordination.
  • Experience in graphic design, modeling, rendering, animations and other visualization development
