Job description

L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. is located in Novato, Marin County, California. Approaching thirty years doing business throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. is a well-established professional Land Surveying firm seeking a Land Surveyor Civil 3D Draftsperson interested in working as an integral member of a Professional Land Surveyor team. This position can be tailored to the needs of those hired.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for a variety of drafting field survey and related datum in Civil 3D.
  • Work closely with the Principal Land Surveyor responsible.
  • Work produced by L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. includes simple & complex boundaries, land title surveys (ALTA), topographic mapping, least squares, adjustments, monitoring, forensic, GPS, Elevation Certificates, map preparation, legal descriptions, and construction staking.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects in various stages of development.
  • Will be operating one of our company vehicles and must have a clean driving record as reported by the Department of Motor Vehicles of the State in which the applicant’s driver’s license is issued.

Individuals working with us enjoy being a professional team member while having the opportunity to work on projects independently.
Must be proficient and demonstrate skill in the following areas:
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Written and Verbal Communication.
  • MS Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $25–$50 per hour (DOE – Depending on Experience).
