What You'll Do

  • Lead boundary, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking, and topographic surveys across diverse project types
  • Supervise and mentor field crews, providing technical direction and professional development
  • Manage survey projects from kickoff through closeout - ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Review and prepare plats, legal descriptions, right-of-way maps, and construction drawings
  • Operate and oversee use of GPS, robotic total stations, laser scanners, UAVs, and advanced survey technologies
  • Collaborate directly with clients, project managers, engineers, and public agencies
  • Serve as signing surveyor in accordance with state licensing requirements
  • Champion safety, data integrity, and continuous improvement
  • Continue learning and growing professionally

What You Bring

  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
  • 5-8+ years of land surveying experience 
  • Strong knowledge of boundary law, construction surveying, and local land use regulations
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Leica or Topcon workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, projects, and client relationships
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed
