We are currently seeking a Civil Information Modeling (CIM) Engineer (internally referred to as CIM Engineer; externally also known as Civil 3D BIM Modeler) to join our Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team. This is not just a drafting role-you will work closely with civil construction experts to develop constructible 3D models that drive our field operations and set the standard for precision and efficiency.

    • Identifying and reporting conflicts, constructability issues, and value-engineering opportunities.
    • Using tools like Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and clash detection software to verify model accuracy.
    • Generating quantity take-off (QTO) reports and preparing model-based deliverables.
    • Coordinating with the estimating team and field personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Incorporating contract changes, maintaining standards, and ensuring all models reflect real-world construction sequences.
    • Participating in project handoff meetings and publishing models for proposals and internal use.

This position will keep you engaged in both technical modeling and practical construction support, ensuring no two days are alike.
Why Join Wayne Brothers?
    • Work with cutting-edge technology in modeling and machine control.
    • Collaborate directly with experienced civil construction and VDC professionals.
