By addressing additive manufacturing’s biggest challenges, we work with machine shops, contract manufacturers, and research institutions to ensure prosperity for manufacturers across the world.

We are currently seeking a motivated Automation Software Developer to develop and support software for advanced industrial automation systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to make a direct impact on innovative automation technology.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong C#/.NET and WPF experience (MVVM preferred).
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and Git.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem solving skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • PLC programming
  • Montion control systems
  • EtherCAT or Ethernet/IP
  • SQL databases
  • Industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain C# WPF applications for industrial automation equipment.
  • Design intuitive operator interfaces using WPF and MVVM.
  • Develop motion control software and integrate with PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and industrial devices.
  • Support software integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor machine performance through diagnostics, alarms, and data logging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop new machine capabilities.
  • Maintain technical documentation and manage software releases using GIT.
  • Apply software development best practices, participate in code reviews, and support continuous improvement.
  • Provide occasional customer support startup and on-site assistance as needed
