Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, or 3ds Max is typically required, and experience with rendering engines or CAD tools is a plus. Strong communication, creativity, and the ability to accept feedback are important soft skills for collaborating and refining designs. These skills are crucial for producing high-quality 3D assets, meeting project requirements, and succeeding in a dynamic, creative environment.

As a 3D Design Intern, you'll typically work on a variety of projects ranging from product prototypes and architectural visualizations to animations and digital assets for games or marketing. Most companies use industry-standard software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite. You'll often collaborate closely with senior designers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure your models meet both aesthetic and technical requirements. This hands-on experience not only builds your technical skills but also gives you insight into workflow, project management, and teamwork within a creative environment.
