Job description

Amentumis a government services provider of strategic solutions to the defense, homeland security, and the Intelligence Community. Our Senior Leaders, Subject Matter Experts, and Operational Specialists have direct, on-the-ground expertise in planning and executing the most critical missions our country and business sectors have faced - with current operations ongoing in every region in the US, to include heavy support to the Washington, DC metro area and Tampa, FL area along with the Middle East, South Asia, Afghanistan, Latin America, Europe, or Africa. Responsibilities:

  • Shall maintain day-to-day management, direction, technical control, technical review, coordination, and oversight of counterintelligence (CI) Special Operations Concepts (CISOCs), Operations Plans (OPLANs), CI Recruitment Leads, and CI Research Projects (CIRPs)
  • Management includes writing or staffing CI Special Operations Concepts (CISOCs)
  • Shall coordinate category I operations requests from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
  • Category I requests include records checks and operational reviews of proposed activities
  • Shall staff requests for support to authorized FBI activities, including conducting operational reviews of proposed activities and identifying potential legal and operational issues
  • Shall staff requests for special collection techniques
  • Shall conduct operational coordination between the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Army Service Component Commands, other Government agencies, and the Department of the Army (DA) for CI matters related to counterintelligence operational activities and provide counterintelligence-related advice, guidance, and recommendations, as appropriate, to customers
  • Shall conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational briefings with Government Team/Branch/Division Chiefs

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required and must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis
  • Must be a graduate of any of the following Military Department Counterintelligence Agent Certifying Courses:
    • Army - Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC)
    • Army - 35L Course (or its predecessor)
    • Army - 351L Course (or its predecessor)
    • Air Force -Basic Special Investigators Course (BISC), U.S. Air Force
  • Special Investigations Academy, or predecessor
  • Navy - Special Agent Basic Training Program (SABTB)
  • Naval Criminal Investigative Service Training Academy, or predecessor
  • Must be a graduate of any of the following:
    • Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy/Activity (JCITA) - Advanced Foreign Counterintelligence Operations Course (AFCIOC) or predecessor
    • JCITA - Advanced Counterintelligence Collections Course (ACICC)
    • JCITA - Military Counterintelligence Collections Course (MCC)
    • JCITA - Counterintelligence Force Protection Source Operations Course (CFSO)
    • HT-JCOE - Source Operations Course (SOC)
    • HT-JCOE - Advanced Source Operations Course (ASOC)
    • HT-JCOE - Defense Advanced Tradecraft Course (DATC)
    • Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) - Advanced Military Source Operations Course (AMSOC)
    • Other - Field Tradecraft Course (FTC), Operations Tradecraft Course (OTC), Military Operations Training Course (MOTC), or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a credentialed counterintelligence special agent
  • College education cannot be used in lieu of experience
  • Must possess an understanding of CI or HUMINT collection operations
  • Must have a strong understanding of CI Flags
  • Must possess an understanding of Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE) Tactical Technical Procedures (TTPs)

Compensation Details:

$105,000 - $120,000
