The 340B Program Specialist shall assist and collaborate with the Pharmacy Team involving pharmacy information system database, carousel database, bar coded formulary, and 340B database. Act as Primary Contact for entity. May assist in the development, implementation, or promotion of programmatic resources/tools to support staff.

  • Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures on 340B purchasing processes, develop systems and processes to limit program liabilities and provide proper audits to identify risk and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion
  • Review 340B Program policies and procedures on an ongoing basis and offer contributions and changes to ensure 340B compliance
  • Proficient with Excel

Required Experience

Required:

  • Current California Pharmacy Technician License
  • Minimum of two (2) years working experience with 340B in a hospital setting and experience with pharmacy systems/processes
  • A minimum of two (2) years working experience as a California Licensed Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting
  • Completed 340B University

Preferred:

  • Three years of experience working as a 340B specialist
  • MacroHelix 340B Architect
  • 340B ACE Certification
  • Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager EHR
