What You'll Do
As a Machine & Production Operator, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality brush products and components while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities Include:- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and automated production machines.Â
- Verify materials.
- Keep machines supplied with materials and components.Â
- Perform visual quality inspections and basic measurements using gauges, calipers, and other inspection tools.Â
- Assemble, trim, bend, twist, solder, dip, wrap, crimp, or package products as required.Â
- Accurately complete production paperwork and track production counts.Â
- Identify and report machine issues, excessive scrap, or material shortages.Â
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Â
- Participate in shift meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.Â
- Work collaboratively with other team members.
Hours
Monday - Friday, 3:30 p.m. to Midnight. Â Voluntary overtime available.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.Â
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.Â
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and percentages.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Â
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.Â
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior manufacturing, machine operation, assembly or production experience a plus.
- Experience using measuring tools such as gauges, calipers, micrometers or comparators a plus.Â
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, walking, and moving throughout the production floor for most of the shift.Â
- Frequent use of hands and repetitive motions.Â
- Bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling materials.Â
- Lifting materials up to 30 pounds on occasion.Â
- Working around moving machinery and production equipment.Â
- Visual inspection of products and materials.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing facility environment.Â
- Exposure to loud machinery; hearing protection is required.Â
- Safety glasses and other required PPE must be worn.Â
- Temperature conditions may vary throughout the year.Â
