Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets within the production facility. In this role, the Maintenance Supervisor must identify, troubleshoot and repair problems that occur in production equipment and processes.
This role will also be responsible for project planning for areas of assigned ownership in the plant are also key to this role. This role will guide direct reports on preventative and emergency actions needed to keep the plant and facility running efficiently.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Communicate with maintenance team before and after direct reports start and end there shift to maintain solid communication and next steps within the team.
  • Plan team schedule for their direct areas of ownership
  • Perform monthly one on one communication meetings with direct reports
  • Forecast training to keep a safe, proactive and productive environment
  • Work directly with maintenance planner and parts room associates to make sure parts are ready in time for projects, work orders and emergency repairs.
  • Actively collaborate with all plant managers and supervisors.
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance
  • Generate and complete work orders as assigned
  • Install new equipment and rebuild and fabricate parts
  • Manage parts inventory to ensure adequate inventory
  • Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups
  • Maintain clean and safe work area at all times

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of industrial and or manufacturing maintenance leadership preferred.
  • 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required
  • Standing for up to 7 hours in one shift.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that requires to lifting, pushing, or pulling 50lbs often
