Job description

This role is an Onsite Role: This role requires full-time presence at our Roanoke, Virginia office.

Overview:

Schedule and direct the work activities of the assigned operations. Must assign personnel, equipment and lines according to the priorities of the distribution area and train personnel as required for any job assignment. The Lead Operator will work with the Distribution Supervisor on the flow picking work on each picking line. The Lead Operator must display leadership skills necessary to handle day-to-day problems professionally, carry out all Supervisors' decisions and assume responsibility in the Supervisor's absence. The Lead Operator must be able to conduct safety and quality meetings to promote safety awareness. 

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with distribution Sr. Coordinator, Supervision and Management to efficiently staff a high volume, high paced area according to the standards and workload assigned by planning  
  • Must have prior experience in achieving the set KPI standards of 100% efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Continuously monitor Order Pickers, Auditors and SRWW's to ensure proper procedures for each job class are being followed to achieve efficient workflows 
  • Works closely with employees, other leads and supervisors to identify opportunities for process improvement. Effectively communicate improvement ideas to supervision and management for possible implementation. 
  • Maintains a safe and productive environment through regular inspections of housekeeping and equipment. 
  • Understands and accurately completes daily performance reports.  
  • Supports the Revlon Lean Program. 
  • Flexible to cross-train and support all areas within the warehouse and flexible to work 2nd shift hours if needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or secondary GED minimum 
  • 1-5 years in a high paced Order Fulfillment leadership role with on job trained experience is a must 
  • 1-5 years' Experience with Windows, JDE, Microsoft Word, all applications to service Order Fulfillment in DSI, DOCS Audit, DStorage, and Excel a plus 
  • Problem solving skills to include recognition of problems and solutions
  • Excellent Attendance 
  • Basic mathematical and analytical skills 
  • Strong knowledge of material handling technologies such as sortation, weight-in-motion scales and auditing 
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms and lift up to 50lbs 

Shift hours: Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30am

Revlon is unable to sponsor or transfer employment visas for this role; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa support.

The base pay range for this position is $21.00 / hour with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.

Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are covered by the company-paid basic life insurance policy and company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled). Other benefits offered to employees include but are not limited to the following: long-term disability, supplemental life insurances, flexible spending accounts, critical illness insurance, group legal, identity theft protection, etc. Employees are also able to enroll in our 401k Retirement Savings Plan.

Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Vacation will depend on role.
