Job description

Position Summary...What you'll do...Sr. Manager – Agentic AI Solution Lead Role Summary The Agentic AI Solution Lead owns end-to-end agentic AI solutions that convert Data Science–generated intelligence into automated, production-grade decisions and recovery workflows across Last-Mile Delivery. This role is accountable for what actions agents take, when they take them, how aggressively they operate, and whether those actions deliver measurable business impact. While this role does not build ML models or RCA intelligence, it owns the automated decisions that act on those signals, including their rollout, tuning, and real-world outcomes. Think of this role as the decision and orchestration owner for self-healing operational systems.
Scope of Ownership  This role owns:
  • Decision policies and automation logic
  • Agentic workflow orchestration and sequencing
  • Human-in-the-loop and escalation design
  • Rollout strategy, experimentation, and production iteration
  • Business KPIs, outcome tracking, and regret management
This role does not own:
  • ML model development or RCA intelligence generation
  • Feature engineering or model training pipelines
  • Core platform or orchestration infrastructure
  • Long-term runtime SLAs and on-call ownership
Key Responsibilities End-to-End Solution Ownership
  • Own agentic AI solutions from idea → implementation → production → continuous iteration
  • Translate RCA outputs (probabilities, confidence scores, root-cause hypotheses) into clear, executable actions
  • Determine when to automate versus when to escalate to human operators
  • Own the full lifecycle of every automated decision, from initial deployment through ongoing optimization
Decision Policy & Tradeoff Management
  • Design decision policies that balance:
    • Customer promise and SLA adherence
    • Driver experience, fairness, and trust
    • Cost-to-serve and operational efficiency
  • Define automation thresholds, confidence cutoffs, and safety guardrails
  • Manage false positives, false negatives, and downstream or second-order effects
  • Proactively pause, tune, or roll back automation when outcomes do not meet expectations
Workflow Orchestration & Delivery
  • Implement agentic workflows using approved orchestration patterns and frameworks
  • Leverage simulation, replay, and shadow-mode capabilities to validate behavior prior to full rollout
  • Drive staged deployments, controlled experiments, and progressive automation
  • Ensure automated decisions are explainable, observable, and trusted by Operations teams
Accountability & Continuous Improvement
  • Own production KPIs tied to self-healing and automation outcomes
  • Monitor live agent performance and intervene when needed
  • Reduce manual interventions through effective and responsible automation
  • Continuously refine decisions based on real-world data, feedback, and outcomes
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Act as the single accountable owner when automated systems misbehave or underperform
  • Partner closely with:
    • Data Science (RCA intelligence, confidence evaluation)
    • Operations (pain points, adoption, trust)
    • Global Tech (scaling, reliability, and platform alignment)
  • Influence without authority and drive clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in roles such as:
    • Technical Product Management (decision-heavy systems)
    • Solutions Architecture or Solutions Engineering
    • Operations Automation or Platform Leadership
    • Engineering leadership with strong business ownership
  • Proven experience owning automated or rules-based systems in production
  • Strong intuition for business and operational tradeoffs
  • Comfort working with probabilistic signals and imperfect information
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions with incomplete data and own the outcome
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in logistics, marketplaces, or large-scale operational systems
  • Prior exposure to automation platforms, workflow engines, or decision systems
  • Experience partnering with Data Science teams that provide intelligence consumed by automation
  • Familiarity with incident management, recovery workflows, or self-healing systems
What Success Looks Like
  • Clear, reliable automated actions triggered by RCA intelligence
  • Faster detection, decisioning, and recovery from operational issues
  • Measurable reduction in manual intervention
  • Improved SLA adherence, cost stability, and operational efficiency
  • High trust from Operations and Technology teams in automated decisions
