Red Rock Ford of Dickinson, ND is looking for a Ford Certified Technician. Our family owned dealer group is looking for individuals with a personal ambition and a strong work ethic to join our successful team. Only individuals with Automotive Technician Education or 3+ years Automotive Technician Experience will be considered for this position.

Position: Ford Certified Technician / Mechanic

Automotive Technician Job Requirements:

  • Able to diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, and air conditioning. With Ford vehicles it requires following Ford’s diagnostic and repair recommendations
  • Perform inspection of customers’ vehicles and give necessary repair recommendations to service advisors
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be quick to learn
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and work effectively with the service advisors
  • Valid driver's license

Automotive Technician Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ year dealership technician / mechanic experience
  • Need to identify client's concerns quickly
  • Able to learn new automotive technology; automotive repair & service procedures & specifications
  • Strong knowledge base of light trucks and medium duty trucks
  • Diesel Engine knowledge helpful and compensated
  • Valid Driver’s License
