Drafter
Are you ready to bring your Drafting skills to a team that values precision and innovation? At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we're dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence, and we're looking for skilled Drafters like you!
What You'll Do:
  • Generate full manufacturing prints: Create detailed drawings that meet all required standards for equipment and part assemblies.
  • ERP System work: Use the ERP system to create bills of materials and shop routings.
  • Collaborate with shop personnel: Work with the team on the shop floor to ensure all manufacturing specifications are met.
  • Safety adherence: Follow safety protocols and wear all required PPE for the duration of time in a safety-sensitive area.

What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum education/experience: Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3D drafting skills: Proficiency in Solid Edge or similar 3D modeling software is required.

    • Supplemental experience in 2D AutoCAD is a plus, but not required.

  • Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and good communication in all tasks.
  • Availability: Full-time, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed, adherence to attendance and company policies.
  • Mechanical knowledge: Familiarity with basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Reliability and accuracy: Commitment to reliable work with a high standard of accuracy in drawings and specifications.

Your Schedule:
  • 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
