Job description

Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Miramar, FL

Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment and will be responsible for producing high-quality products while following safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications.
  • Complete production documentation accurately, including production logs and batch records.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform equipment cleaning, line clearance, and sanitation procedures as required.
  • Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process and report any quality or equipment concerns.
  • Assist with machine setup, product changeovers, and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve daily production goals.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic, food, or nutraceutical manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
