CNC Machine Operator (1st Shift)
Pay: $23-25/hr.
Shift: Mon-Fri (6am to 4:30pm) with optional Saturday OT
Job Description:
  • The CNC Machine Operator will have experience with one or more of the following: Kinetic Plasma table, Peddinghaus Saw/Drill line, Peddinghaus Angle Master, Ficep Beamline. This position also requires experience with overhead cranes, detailed part marking, and manual lifting of 50lbs regularly.
Requirements:
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, symbols and notes is preferred
  • Must be able to read a tape measure to within 1/16”
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Ability to stand for a prolonged period
  • Ability to tolerate hot and cold working environments
  • Ability to safely operator overhead cranes and the material transfer/convey system
  • Tekla PowerFab experience preferred
Job Duties:
  • Measure materials to assure conformance with design specifications
  • Select correct material type, stock size and dimensions
  • Transfer appropriate data onto materials
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Keep an accurate record of daily operations and material usage
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and assist in trouble shooting any machine issues
