Job description

Warehouse Team Lead

We are growing again and have an amazing opportunity for a Warehouse Team Lead. This role requires an individual that will take charge and have the willingness to roll up their sleeves and resolve issues independently. Must be highly motivated and have a strong work ethic. 1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday / 3:30am - 12:00pm This position will require mandatory overtime.

Compensation to Start: $23.00 - $25.00 (depending on experience)

Location: Ontario

Job Duties:
  • Support the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager in the distribution of workload assignments for the workgroup while providing support to warehouse representatives.
  • Ensures consistent enforcement of company, safety, and department policies and procedures within prescribed department(s) and reports problems or concerns to Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
  • As a working lead, you will still safely operate a forklift or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
  • Performs other warehouse related duties and projects as assigned.
  • Find ways to cut waste with LEAN initiatives (if you don't know what LEAN is don't worry, we'll teach you!)
Qualifications:
  • 12 months of warehouse or logistics experience and operations
  • 12 months of experience in a leadership role of 5 or more employees required.
  • Able to adapt in a fast-moving environment including handling multiple projects at one time
  • Effectively communicate in writing and verbally to warehouse workers, CSRs, and leaders of all levels within the organization
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when and if needed
  • Communication skills both written and verbal
