About the Role
We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to join our team at our Ontario, CA bakery. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be accountable for overseeing warehouse and material handling operations to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, inventory, and shipping standards. This role is vital in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting operational efficiency, enforcing standard procedures, and ensuring products are prepared and shipped according to company requirements.

Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $27.00
Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)
  • Monitor warehouse operations to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, legality, and production standards.
  • Coordinate inventory control activities, including cycle counts, raw material tracking, and packaging inventory management.
  • Verify packaging code dates and shipping information to ensure product accuracy and compliance.
  • Support material handling operations, including loading, unloading, and movement of materials throughout the facility.
  • Conduct inspections of warehouse areas, racking systems, forklifts, dock equipment, and storage locations to promote safe operations.
  • Process SAP transactions related to inventory management, subcontracting activities, and receiving goods.
  • Lead adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support departmental goals through effective oversight and communication.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or food production environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
  • Experience with inventory control and cycle count processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
  • Previous bakery, food manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution experience.
  • Experience using SAP or similar inventory management systems.
  • Forklift certification or material handling equipment experience.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, food safety programs, and quality systems.
  • Experience conducting warehouse inspections and inventory audits.
