Compensation

New Cooks generally earn between $15 and $17 an hour depending on professional experience.

Job Summary

Help us cook for our wonderful students! Your job responsibilities include but not are not limited to:

  • Preparing fresh fruit, vegetables, and other products
  • Serving breakfast, cooking and serving lunch for all classrooms; serving a morning and afternoon snack
  • Writing and preparing monthly lunch and snack menus
  • Cleaning and washing prep table, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning and organizing the prep fridge and pantry
  • Rinsing kitchen equipment and cutting boards
  • Maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen and pantry
  • Budgeting, managing, and ordering inventory
  • Assisting in other areas as needed assigned by management
  • And most importantly… having fun! You are working in a preschool!
