Resident Care Assistant (RCA) 12 hours/week
Ephrata, PA | Faith • Family • Community

Schedule Shifts include: 12 hours/week; day shift

  • Week One: Thursday 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  • Week Two: Monday 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

    • Every other weekend: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Resident Care Assistant (RCA) Compensation:

  • $17.70 – $19.15/hour

  • $1.25/hour weekend differential

What You’ll Do as a Resident Care Assistant (RCA)

As an RCA, you’ll provide support to residents and assist our nursing team with day-to-day care. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents with personal care (such as eating, grooming, and mobility)

  • Preparing and serving meals and snacks, tracking consumption

  • Helping with light housekeeping and keeping resident spaces tidy

  • Offering companionship through conversation and small group activities

  • Supporting resident safety by monitoring fall risks and responding quickly

  • Transporting residents to activities, chapel, or in-house appointments

  • Ensuring residents feel cared for, valued, and respected

Physical Requirements

This role involves standing, walking, bending, and pushing/pulling wheelchairs or carts. You should be able to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 20 lbs occasionally, and remain calm and professional under pressure while communicating clearly.
