Traveling Senior Electrical Construction Project Manager for mission-critical projects in the Midwest. This site-based role requires extensive travel to jobsite locations, supported by a central office in Kansas/Missouri.

  • $130K-$170K, based on experience
  • Full suite of benefits, health insurance, PTO/Holidays, 401K, etc.
  • Travel packages/Per Diem for project work (GSA rates for location)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage self-performing electrical construction projects, including in-house field staff, subcontractor performance, vendor compliance, and adherence to contracts, budgets, safety, and legal standards.
  • Oversee project coordination, scheduling, and on-site construction activities, ensuring high-quality self-performed electrical work.
  • Monitor project accounting, profitability, and timely completion (adjusting for schedules as needed).
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Lead team members according to company leadership principles for efficient project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction/electrical engineering or 5+ years of electrical field trade experience in self-performing settings.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Construction Project Manager on large projects, directly overseeing self-performing electrical work.
  • Preferred: Experience in mission-critical hyperscale facilities with self-performing contractors
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must pass criminal background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check; valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel extensively to out-of-area jobsites.
