About This Role

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A CHILD'S LIFE! Come join our team of loving and energetic teachers caring for children 6 weeks - 18 months old.

This position provides support to the center by creating a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. Employee must be able to communicate, listen, and work well with others in a team environment. Assisting the staff in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents, as well as being able to multitask while keeping a calm demeanor. Tenative shift hours include 9:00am-6:00pm and 11:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday.


What You'll Do

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Diapering and feeding of infants and toddlers
  • Maintaining confidentiality of the families
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment at all times
  • Sanitizing and cleaning of the building
  • Ability to communicate efficiently among co-workers
  • Following all center policies and state regulations

Requirements
  • Child care experience
  • Must be trained in all age groups 6 weeks - 12 years old and work with all ages at any given time
  • Must meet all applicable licensing and Step Up To Quality regulations
  • Pass BCI/FBI background checks
  • Highschool diploma/GED
  • Active and high energy
  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse and Communicable Disease certifications
  • If you do not have these, you will need to attend classes to obtain them within 30 days of employment
