Job description

SCHEDULE: Weekends or every other weekend, 7am to 3pm

If you’re a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant The Pavilion at Queens wants to meet you! The Pavilion at Queens is a 302-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Flushing, Queens. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will be responsible for performing a variety of care practices including:

  • Responding to call bells to assist residents
  • Helping residents with grooming and hygiene
  • Assistance with food trays and feeding
  • Assists with movement to wheelchair or activity areas
  • Provides direct and indirect resident care services

Qualifications:

  • Currently certified by the New York State Department of Health (new grads encouraged to apply)
  • Must be able to lift residents (minimum 50 pounds) and turn and position numerous times throughout the day.
  • Must have the ability to transfer a resident from sitting to standing position and vice versa.
  • Must have the ability to climb stairs, bend, maneuver equipment and push small carts.
