Account Manager - Commercial Construction Services - Base Salary to 100k/year - Detroit, MI

  • Our client is a growing specialty construction contractor serving commercial, industrial, institutional, and public-sector customers throughout the region. The company provides project-based solutions for contractors, municipalities, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, manufacturing operations, and other commercial clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Account Manager to support client relationships and business development efforts.
  • This position is ideal for a highly motivated professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and representing an organization in client-facing environments. The Account Manager will work closely with existing and prospective customers to support long-term partnerships, identify opportunities, and contribute to the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and relationship development
  • Represent the company at client meetings, job sites, industry events, trade associations, and networking functions
  • Coordinate with internal operations and project teams to ensure excellent customer service and project execution
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout project lifecycles
  • Track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within company systems
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and market expansion efforts

Qualifications:
