As our Plumbing & Sewer Service Manager, you will lead, coach, and inspire our field service technicians to smash revenue goals and deliver exemplary customer service. You will act as the vital bridge between our field techs and office operations, ensuring our daily service runs like a well-oiled machine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach & Inspire: Host weekly training sessions and conduct field ride-alongs to mentor plumbing and sewer technicians on Harts’ proven sales process, technical standards, and building customer rapport.
  • Drive Revenue: Hold the field team accountable for meeting and exceeding sales, efficiency, and performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborate: Partner closely with dispatch, customer service, and HR to optimize scheduling, streamline operations, and support team growth.
  • Solve Problems: Serve as the technical and operational safety net for field techs while swiftly resolving customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the service industry (plumbing and sewer trade experience strongly preferred) AND 5+ years of team leadership experience.
  • Sales Chops: A proven track record in trade sales with the ability to teach technicians how to present options and close with integrity.
  • Superb Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; confident in leading meetings and training sessions.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating iPads, mobile messaging platforms, and modern field service software (e.g., ServiceTitan).
  • Reliability: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical & Working Conditions
  • A balance of office-based management and field oversight.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, navigate job sites (including tight spaces, basements, and staircases), work in various weather conditions, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strict adherence to all OSHA/WISHA safety regulations.
