The Goddard School (35 Magothy Beach Rd., Pasadena, MD) is seeking a passionate Pre Kindergarten Teacher. Join a supportive team and create a nurturing, engaging classroom that prepares children for kindergarten using our Wonder of Learning curriculum.
Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum and Instruction: Implement developmentally appropriate Pre-K lessons
  • Implement activities that follow MSDE standards
  • Health and Safety: Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards, licensing regulations and ensure their well-being
  • Family Communication: Communicate with families about progress and daily activities
  • Support childrens social-emotional growth and school readiness
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in training
  • Team Collaboration: Support Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • Preschool certification preferred
  • 12 years of experience with young children preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
