Job description

Position: Bartender – Part Time

Reports To: F&B Outlets Manager


Schedule & Details
  • Status: Part Time
  • Compensation: $10–$12/hour (based on experience) + tips
  • Availability: Evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

About the Role

As a Bartender at Blue Harbor Resort, you’ll be an important part of our food & beverage team, crafting and serving beverages with professionalism and flair. Bartenders do more than just mix drinks — they help create a welcoming atmosphere, provide excellent guest service, and ensure bar operations run smoothly throughout service.

In this role, you’ll prepare cocktails, serve beer and wine, manage bar supplies, and follow responsible service standards while enhancing the guest experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately
  • Prepare and mix alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest requests
  • Garnish drinks with prepared fruits and other accompaniments
  • Pour and serve beer from taps and open requested bottles of beer or wine
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting bar area throughout service
  • Restock bar supplies, glassware, and garnishes as needed
  • Dispose of trash and separate recyclables properly
  • Follow responsible alcohol service procedures and ensure a safe environment, monitoring guest consumption and intervening appropriately
  • Collaborate with servers and other team members to support smooth service flow
  • Look for opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction with attentive, friendly service
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
