Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol EMT Support in Ambridge, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, and deliveries, following location policies for visitor processing, credential checks, and restricted area access.
  • Support security-related operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by observing equipment areas, reporting maintenance or hazard concerns, and communicating clearly during routine and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An EMT certification is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
