JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Beaver's Continuing Education is accepting applications for part-time Summer Camp Counselors.

Job duties to include:

  • Duties include overseeing registration and departure of the campers, supervising activities, and assisting campers and instructors with projects, crafts and experiments. Other duties may include copying, data entry, summarizing evaluations, and organization of camp supplies

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

  • Prior work experience with youth preferred but not required.
  • Weekdays, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Compensation:

The starting rate for this job is $12.00 per hour.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
