Job description

A private family in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an experienced, professional Full-Time Housekeeper to join their established household team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong knowledge of luxury home care, and a genuine interest in building a long-term relationship with the family.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the private residence.
  • Perform detailed daily housekeeping and deep-cleaning duties as needed.
  • Properly care for fine fabrics, antique wool rugs, and other delicate materials.
  • Follow appropriate cleaning and preservation protocols for antiques and artwork.
  • Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, kitchens, and other areas of the residence to an exceptional standard.
  • Assist with laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, and household organization as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the existing household staff.
  • Prepare the home for the family's arrivals, departures, entertaining, and travel.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding the family and household.
  • Take initiative in identifying household needs and maintaining an exceptionally high standard of service.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of delicate cleaning and preservation techniques.
  • Experience working with fine fabrics, antiques, art, wool rugs, and high-end furnishings strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and dependable.
