CNC Machine Operator - First Shift
CNC Machine Operator - First Shift
Walor North America is looking for a CNC Operator to join its Machining team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of CNC Machinery with a high regard for effectiveness and efficiency.
What you will do
  • Adherence to federal, state and local laws and regulations, internal policies and other applicable rules including ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements
  • Continuous improvement of work and activities
  • Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities
  • Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Adherence to 5S principles
  • Responsible for print reading
  • CMM operation
  • Ability to use metrology equipment
  • Ability to change tooling offsets and monitor tool life and change cutting inserts
  • Machine start up and shutdown
  • Ability to operate CNC machinery
  • Required to properly fill out paperwork for shift reports, inspection cards, route cards etc.
  • Ability to load and unload machinery
  • Perform hourly parts inspections
  • Adherence to compliance for the environment, safety and cleanliness guidelines
  • Maintain proper liquid levels and perform daily preventative maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness and care of equipment and surroundings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
What you will bring
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Technical aptitude
  • Experience with metrology equipment (calipers, height gage, dial indicator etc.) preferred
  • Experience working with metal preferred

Work Environment
  • Location-The CNC Operator role is based onsite at our Columbus facility
  • Physical Demand-May be required to lift moderately heavy automotive components up to 15 pounds
  • Schedule-1st Shift Monday thru Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM, some overtime or weekends may be necessary
