Job description

Role Overview:
This role involves providing comprehensive support for Cisco Voice and VoIP environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and related telephony infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and administer Cisco Voice/VoIP environments, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
  • Manage and troubleshoot Cisco voice infrastructure, dial plans, and telephony administration.
  • Administer and troubleshoot E911 systems.
  • Support call recording platforms such as NICE.
  • Apply understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SIP in daily operations.
  • Utilize strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills to resolve issues efficiently.

Required Skills:
  • Good experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
  • Understanding of Cisco voice infrastructure, dial plans, and telephony administration.
  • Familiarity with Session Border Controllers (SBCs), preferably Oracle SBC.
  • Experience supporting call recording platforms such as NICE.
  • Knowledge of E911 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Cisco UCS environments.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SIP.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications:
  • 3-9 years of experience supporting Cisco Voice/VoIP environments.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Calling.
