Job description

Full time and Part time Speech Language Pathology openings in Central Ohio

At Broad River Rehab, we are committed to changing lives through exceptional rehabilitation services. We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP CCC or CFY) to join our team and provide high-quality care to residents in skilled nursing facilities throughout Central Ohio.

Full-Time Opportunity Option One: Full time Split between 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities in Marion and Mt. Gilead. Drive time and Mileage is paid when traveling between the facilities. Option Two: Full time Split between 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities in Marion and Lewis Center. Drive time and Mileage is paid when traveling between the facilities. Part-Time Opportunities Also Available

Part-time schedules are available at each individual location:

  • Marion, OH
  • Mt. Gilead, OH
  • Lewis Center, OH

Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat residents, under orders from a physician, using a variety of speech therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potential in all areas of a resident’s life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions and assistive devices
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home exercise programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in care planning and discharge planning activities
Qualifications
    • Speech-Language Pathologist license in state of employment
    • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Valid ASHA Certification
    • 1-2 years of experience preferred.
