We are looking for a Coordinator, Field Stations who will join our team.

The Research Station Coordinator is a hands-on position essential to the operational excellence, safety, and research-readiness of Scotts Miracle-Gro's premier research facility. Located at our Corporate Headquarters in Marysville, Ohio, this role serves as the backbone of the company's largest innovation hub.

By managing world-class greenhouses, indoor grow environments, insectaries, and field research plots, the Coordinator ensures our infrastructure remains at the cutting edge of biological and product development. Partnering closely with the Station Manager, the role will maintain exceptional visual standards and functional integrity across our entire lawn and garden portfolio.

This position is designed for a horticulture or turf professional who excels in dynamic, research-driven environments and is committed to operational excellence.

In this role you will:

Assist with research project coordination - Planning, setup, and execution of research trial work, coordination with R&D staff

Field Operations Management - Plot layout, Tillage, Fertilizer and chemical applications, Planting, Mechanical weed control, Harvesting

Monitoring and Scouting - Regular field scouting, Pest and condition monitoring, Reporting and proactively addressing issues

Collaboration and Communication - Collaboration with R&D teams, Communicating progress and challenges, Providing feedback and recommendations

Miscellaneous - Administrative tasks, Training and development, Equipment maintenance

What you'll need to be successful:

Associate's Degree, Agronomy, Plant or Soil Science, Horticulture

0 - 2 Years of experience prefered

Working knowledge in general grounds and facility maintenance, fertilizer and pesticide application, greenhouse operation, and safe operating procedures.

Basic understanding of plant science, soil management, and pest management.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in field equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and work quality
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, lift 50 lbs, and work in all weather conditions.

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $52,500.00 - $61,800.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
