Role: Data Management Analyst

Location: Columbus OH – Hybrid

Job Description              

The Data Management Analyst 5 will be taking on a new role within the team in order to focus on examining data lineage and drive data governance This contractor will act as a consultant for the teams data management strategy and assist in defining opportunities, tools, and execution methods.

Covers jobs that drive oversight, governance, and management of critical data to support business needs, initiatives, and strategies. Consult with data product, data integrity, technology, and business partners to set standards, policies and practices for data flow, data framework, data access, documentation, quality and remediation. This sub-family is specific to contingent resources.

Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Data Management

Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking

Provide expertise to Wells Fargo senior leadership on innovative Data Management business solutions. Strategically engage with Wells Fargo personnel.

Duties include:

•Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise data governance frameworks, standards, policies, and procedures.

•Collaborate with stakeholders and engagements

•May present findings and strategy leadership

•Creating reports and performing complex analysis in order to reshape and examine digital requirements

•Establish and oversee data ownership, stewardship, accountability, and governance operating models across multiple data domains.

•Drive enterprise adoption of data management practices including data quality, metadata management, lineage, data controls, and critical data element management.

•Chair or facilitate governance forums and domain councils to resolve data-related risks, issues, priorities, and strategic decisions.

•Partner with business, technology, risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory, policy, and governance requirements.

•Provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise on data governance, data management, and enterprise data strategy initiatives.

•Influence enterprise-wide decisions regarding data standards, quality expectations, metadata requirements, and governance controls.

•Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on data-related risks, opportunities, and governance priorities.

•Promote a culture of data accountability, quality, transparency, and responsible data management across the organization.

•Ensure governance requirements are embedded within Agile delivery processes, product development lifecycles, and change initiatives.

•Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and adoption of emerging governance capabilities."                                                                                                                                                                      

Required Skills                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

•Strong Knowledge of Data Strategy with a  proven track record of success

•7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

•Experience with Data modeling, data domains, data governance experience

•Ability to identify needs, create and define customized reports as needed

•Ability to perform complex analysis to examine digital requirements

•Data mapping

•AI Usage Experience
